Whistleblowing – Whistleblowing and whistleblower protection in the LEM Group

The LEM – Linea Ecologica Mangia provides a secure and anonymous system to send reports regarding misconduct, violations of the law or situations potentially harmful to the company or the public interest.

Whistleblowing consists of the communication – written or oral – of information on facts, risks or irregular conduct, committed or attempted, learned in the context of one’s work or professional relationship with the company.
Reports can also be sent anonymously.

In these cases, the identity of the whistleblower is protected through data encryption, making it unrecognizable.

Only the person in charge of managing reports will be able to access any communications with the whistleblower, also to request further information or receive supporting documents. The attached files can be textual, audio or video. If you use a voice recording, the platform will automatically apply a voice distortion to ensure total confidentiality.

The platform used by LEM LINEA ECOLOGICA MANGIA SRL complies with the provisions of current legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Legislative Decree no. 24 of 10 March 2023, and the guidelines of the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC), ensuring a high level of protection for whistleblowers.

The following can access the reporting channel:

  • employees and collaborators, both subordinate and self-employed;
  • consultants and freelancers who work on behalf of the company;
  • suppliers and third parties involved in business activities or services;
  • volunteers and trainees (regardless of salary);
  • shareholders who are natural persons;
  • members of administrative, control, supervisory or representative bodies.

The management of reports is entrusted to a designated internal structure, responsible for ensuring the correct and confidential examination of each communication received. It is also possible, through the available channels, to request a confidential interview to make the report in person.

Comments, recommendations, reports or complaints regarding the Code of Ethics, “Quality, Safety, Environment and Anti-Corruption Policy,” “Social Responsibility Policy,” workplaces and nonconformities for ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 37001 (Prevention of Corruption) standards and the SA8000 (Social Responsibility) standard can be promptly made by sending – even anonymously – an e-mail message by filling out the form below. A confidential, impartial, nonretaliatory, accessible and always available procedure is implemented to ensure this power for interested parties. The Quality Manager, the Management Representative for Social Responsibility or the Compliance Function for Prevention of Corruption, to the extent of their respective responsibilities, shall take action within 30 days in this regard and provide appropriate feedback.
